We are Pat and David Martin and after many years wanting to own a property in Nerja finally made the move to acquire this property in 2014.
Having visited Nerja before we just love the relaxed atmosphere of the town, its beaches and off course its shops and restaurants. Our Villa is in an elevated position with great views over the town and out to sea, situated in the small urbanisation of Naricha adjacent to the larger El Capistrano. It’s just a 15 minute walk from Nerja’ s narrow streets which meander down to the sea shore and the famous Balcon De Europe. On the way you’ll be spoilt for choice with the variety of shops and restaurants.
Nerja is some 45 minutes from Malaga airport so a hire car is recommended although once you’re at the villa getting around is quite easy. We think it’s close enough to the many resorts of the Costa Del Sol that surround Malaga but far enough away so as not to be disturbed by their hustle and bustle.
Pat and I enjoy walking down to town for a stroll around the shops and an evening meal, the walk back will certainly exercise you carve mussels but it’s great for walking off a nice meal, plenty of taxi’s available at a very reasonable fixed price (€7.0 2014/2015) if you don’t fancy the walk back.
We have worked hard to make the villa a comfortable place to stay in, all the furnishings and facilities are chosen buy us, the villa has Cable TV, Wi-Fi and a Blue Tooth enabled music player, so you can use your own music if you don’t like our choice. Nerja’ s climate makes it an all year round place to visit and the villa is well equipped for both indoor and outdoor living. The garden and patio areas are south facing with a choice of sun and shade all day and the communal pool is just a short walk from the villa. I’m often popping down for a quick swim to cool off on a hot day. Dinning Al Fresco after a day at the beach or round the pool is a great way to relax, the built in BBQ some chilled wine or the odd beer, what more could you want.
